What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at Parkwood Blvd in Plano, TX on July 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by 22-year-old Jesus Albino-Avila was headed westbound on Parker Rd at an alleged high rate of speed when it collided with a motorcycle headed eastbound operated by a 42-year-old Plano man. Reports indicate the Mustang fled the scene without stopping to render aid before later being located and Albin0-Avila arrested on charges for Intoxication Assault and Failure to Stop. The Plano man was seriously injured and hospitalized.
