Police say the incident happened around 11:01 p.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck acting as a work vehicle with an attached trailer was traveling at a slower rate of speed. The vehicle was part of a road crew and the vehicle had flashing lights active at the time. Police say a Nissan Rogue operated by a suspected intoxicated driver collided with the vehicle, ejecting two workers from the vehicle. One, a 21-year-old male who was not identified, was seriously injured, according to officials. The condition of the other, age 22, was not stated.
