Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at State Hwy 153 in Coleman County, TX on July 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:32 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by a 70-year-old male was headed northwest on Hwy 153 when it veered into the opposite site of the road and collided with a tractor-trailer operated by 30-year-old Maineville, OH man. The collision caused the driver of the GMC serious injuries. The other driver was not injured. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
