Area authorities are investigating a cross that injured a man at State Hwy 97 in Wilson County, TX on November 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Rav4 was westbound as a Chevrolet Malibu was eastbound, both on Hwy 97. Police allege the Toyota traveled into the path of the Chevrolet, the Chevrolet taking evasive action. The Toyota side-swiped the Chevrolet, reports say, before continued eastbound and spinning right. Reports indicate a 66-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet was seriously injured and did not report any other injuries. Sources further indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the Toyota.
