What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a man at TX 19 and Waverly Way in Henderson County, TX on May 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 2500 operated by a 32-year-old O'Fallon, MO man was headed westbound on Hwy 19 when it veered from its lane into a westbound shoulder, hitting a guardrail. It then swerved over an eastbound shoulder into a concrete wall before going into a westbound ditch and overturning, rolling down a concrete slope. The O'Fallon man suffered serious injuries in the crash. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
