What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 287 and Palo Duro Dr in Cactus, TX on May 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:54 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 71-year-old Manuel Lopez Valles reportedly veered from the road and crashed into a guardrail. Police allege that Valles, who was not injured, was intoxicated at the time and issued at a Driving While Intoxicated. A 50-year-old passenger suffered serious injuries.
