Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a man at US 60 and 15th St in Canyon, TX on August 7th, 2021. Police say it happened around 7:37 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by a 31-year-old Canyon man reportedly was, according to witnesses, traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control at a curve in the road. It then went into a spin and rotated multiple times, ejecting the driver. The man suffered serious injuries in the collision. Responding officers say that alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
