Police say the incident happened around 4:21 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was northeast on US 62 on wet roads. The vehicle is said to have just exited a curve before its tires lost traction, causing the vehicle to rotate and begin to go into a skid. The vehicle struck a highway sign before going into a ditch, rolling over into. The driver, a 39-year-old male, was seriously injured, according to police.
