What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at Lakeside Ln in Henderson County, TX on May 29th, 2021. A Yamaha motorcycle operated by a 19-year-old Enchanted Oaks man was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed around a curve when it veered from the road into a pair of parked vehicles. It then went airborne before landing in a ditch. The driver, who police say had allegedly consumed alcoholic beverages, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Police issued him a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
