Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Fredericksburg Rd and Data Point Dr in San Antonio, TX on April 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 47-year-old Joshua Ortiz was headed southbound on Fredericksburg as a 28-year-old San Antonio man was crossing the road. Police say the man was not utilizing a crosswalk while crossing before he was struck by the Ford. The San Antonio man was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police alleged suspicion alcohol played a factor in the crash.
