Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at US 82 in Lubbock, TX on September 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:43 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 63-year-old man was southwest before swerving to avoid striking a vehicle being pushed by a pedestrian in the roadway. While doing so, the vehicle lost control and strike the pedestrian, a 52-year-old male authorities allege failed to yield right of way. The pedestrian was seriously injured, police say. There were no other reported injuries.
