What Happened

Authorities in Houston, TX, are investigating a collision involving a commercial truck and a pedestrian that occurred on Washington Avenue near the 1000 block of Birdsall Street. A pedestrian, who was intoxicated and walking in the middle of the road, was struck by the eastbound commercial truck while allegedly in or near the roadway. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported for emergency medical treatment but could not be identified due to lack of ID.
