What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision involving a train at S Presa St and Avondale Ave in San Antonio, TX on May 8th, 2022. They say an unidentified 31-year-old male was reportedly walking along train tracks prior to being struck by a passing train. Police say the conductor alleges he attempted to alert the man prior to the collision and that the train was not moving very fast once the man was struck.
