Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-35 in Belton, TX on October 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Promaster is believed to have been headed southbound before colliding with the rear of a tractor-trailer. It was suggested by sources driver distraction may have contributed to the collision, the van veered from the road and overturning onto its side, partially in a southbound lane. An approaching in F0rd F-150 made contract with debris from the crash before becoming disabled in a right shoulder. Officials say the driver of the van was seriously injuries while the other two drivers and a passenger were uninjured. Additional information was not available.
