What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Airline Dr near Gulf Bank Rd in Harris County, TX on November 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. A Kia Sedona is said to have struck a Ford Explorer before jumping a median and hitting a nearby pedestrian selling flowers. The driver of the Kia then reportedly exited the vehicle and attempted to flee but was apprehended by an off-duty officer nearby and charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid. The man struck by the Kia was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from.
