What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at East Ben White Blvd in Austin, TX on October 11th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:42 p.m. A Toyota 4Runner operated by 27-year-old Felton Deaunte Armstrong III headed westbound on East Ben White Blvd when it collided with a pedestrian attempting to cross the road. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police say that Armstrong fled the scene and was later located and arrested for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
