What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at East Mount Houston Rd and Homestead Rd in Houston, TX on December 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:55 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was headed southbound, approaching the intersection. At the same time, police say a Kia Sportage was nearing the intersection headed northbound before turning at a left at a yield arrow. The two vehicles collided at the intersection and the motorcyclist, who was not publicly identified, was killed. The driver of the Kia was uninjured, police say.
