Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at FM 106 and 54th St in Harlingen, TX on November 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:27 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was reversing into a business lot, partially blocking eastbound lanes. Headed eastbound and approaching the truck was a Chevrolet Camaro operated by a 52-year-old man who was not publicly identified. Reports say the Camaro collided with and became stuck underneath the truck. The collision was severe enough the Camaro operator suffered fatal injuries. The other driver, also not publicly identified, was uninjured, police say. Additional information was not available.
