Area authorities have details on a crash that killed a person at FM 2020 in Ector County, TX on October 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:26 p.m. A Kia Spectra operated by an unidentified 20-year-old Odessa man reportedly lost control while headed westbound on FM 2020 and veered from the road. It then went into a side skit and struck a steel pole, causing it to overturn multiple times and crash into a nearby building. The driver died at the scene. Police say the driver was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash.
