Authorities in Waller County, TX, are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on November 4, 2024, at approximately 1:11 a.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 2020. A 2016 GMC Yukon, allegedly driven by a 54-year-old female, was traveling westbound when it struck a 51-year-old male pedestrian who failed to yield the right of way. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers, ages 64 and 47, were uninjured. Contributing factors included pedestrian failure to yield.
