Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at FM 3175 in Atascosa County, TX on July 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a a 33-year-old driver was southbound behind a John Deere Tractor. While attempting to pass the vehicle, police say the tractor went unto a no pass zone and allegedly turned when unsafe. The vehicles collided, causing the tractor to overrun. Its 54-year-old operator, who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. The other driver was evaluated for possible injuries.
