What Happened

Grand Prairie Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at Hwy 360 in Grand Prairie, TX on October 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:40 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC SUV is alleged to have collided with the rear of a Toyota passenger vehicle traveling at a lower rate of speed with active emergency lighting. The collision left the driver of the Toyota, who was not publicly identified, fatally injured. Reports say the driver of the GMC was identified as 20-year-old Hector Garcia, who reports say was arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter. Additional inforamtion was not immediately available.
