Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35 and Sevier Rd in Milford, TX on June 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:57 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 32-year-old San Antonio man reportedly failed to control its speed in stopped traffic and collided with the rear of a Hyundai Elantra operated by 37-year-old Mesquite woman. The impact pushed the vehicle from the road into a ditch, causing serious injuries to the woman and fatal injuries to her 20-year-old passenger. The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was charged with Failure to Control Speed.
