Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-75 in Collier County, FL on February 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. A pickup truck headed eastbound on I-75 operated by a  36-year-old Port Charlotte man is said to have collided with a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer was westbound on the road, went into a paved median and proceeded to turn into a left eastbound lane. The Port Charlotte man suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
