Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Kiest Blvd and Coombs Creek Dr in Dallas, TX on February 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by a 50-year-old Dallas man was headed westbound on Kiest Blvd at an alleged unsafe speed before it collided with a Hyundai Venue performing a turn. The Dallas man, who officers allege suspicion may have been intoxicated, suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Hyundai Venue, a 75-year-old woman, was evaluated for possible injuries.
