What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at South Richey Rd in Houston, TX on September 19th, 2022. Police say it happened around 7:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed westbound on Richey Rd was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed before veering from its lane at a curve into oncoming traffic. It and an Acura TL collided head-on before a Honda Accord behind the Acura struck the Acura and a Ford Expedition struck the Honda. The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the Acura was waken to an area hospital with injuries he succumbed to on October 1st.
