What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Tidwell Rd and Sandra St in Houston, TX on October 25th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 6:10 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was headed westbound while a GMC Canyon was stopped at stop sign at Sandra Street. Reports say the GMC proceeded to turn left at Tidwell before it was struck by the approaching motorcycle. Police say the motorcycle operator, only said to be a 32-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The other driver, age 81, is said to have stayed at the scene and was allegedly not impaired. Additional information was not available.
