Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at TX 249 and Spring Cypress Rd in Harris County, TX on May 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:41 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 27-year-old Houston man was headed northbound on TX 249 when it drifted left and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer parked in a left shoulder. The driver of the Tahoe, a 27-year-old Houston man, suffered fatal injuries the crash. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
