What Happened

Houston Police are searching for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run accident at Beechnut Street in Houston, TX on February 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened as a pickup truck veered from the road around 1:30 a.m. The truck then jumped a curb and struck a man standing behind a fence and crashed into an apartment wall. The man near the fence suffered fatal injuries and the driver is said to have fled the scene after the incident. The apartment was empty at the time of the crash.
