What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that killed a man at Long Point Rd and Antoine Dr in Houston, TX on March 26th, 2024. Reports allege a Chevrolet Silverado was headed eastbound at a high rate of speed prior to striking a pedestrian crossing the roadway. Reports further allege the pedestrian, a man who was not publicly identified, was not at designated crosswalk at the time and that the pickup truck fled the scene without stopping to render aid to the man. He suffered fatal injuries in the incident and police say they are currently searching for the whereabouts of the vehicle and driver involved.
