What Happened

Authorities in Houston, TX, are investigating a collision involving a Chevrolet Equinox and a pedestrian that occurred in the 12200 block of Almeda Road on October 13th, 2024. The Chevrolet was traveling southbound in lane two when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the same lane outside of a crosswalk. There was no crosswalk in that portion of the roadway. The pedestrian failed to yield the right of way and was struck. No surveillance footage of the incident is available. The investigation is ongoing.
