What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian at Cullen Blvd in Houston, TX on January 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:50 p.m. An unidentified 76-year-old man was reportedly attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a tow truck. He was then transported to an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. The driver of the tow truck is said to have remained at the scene and called police. Officers say he showed no signs of impairment, was questioned and later released.
