What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35E near Commonwealth Dr in Dallas, TX on October 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. A Mazda operated by 21-year-old Victoria Garner-Council reportedly lost control and crashed into a guardrail. It then veered back into traffic and was struck by a Kia. A third vehicle pulled up to the crash and the driver exited the vehicle to check on the drivers of the first two vehicles when another vehicle struck him and the Kia. The man was taken to an area hospital with injuries that he later died from. Garner-Council was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
