Authorities in Brazoria County, TX, are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on February 23, 2025, at approximately 8:18 p.m. on State Highway 99. A Infiniti QX50 was traveling northeast when it struck a 61-year-old male pedestrian who failed to yield the right of way while crossing the roadway outside of an intersection. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The 45-year-old driver of the Infiniti was uninjured. No charges were filed. The investigation is incomplete.
