What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at W Bellfort Ave and Hwy 288 in Houston, TX on January 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened before 6:11 a.m. An unidentified male, believe to be in his mid 40's to 50's, was reportedly walking on the service road of the highway when he was stuck by a vehicle. The vehicle  is said to have fled the scene after the collision, leaving the man behind. Police and medics were called to the scene and CPR was attempted on the man who ultimately died from his injuries. Police were not able to say what kind of vehicle was involved in the collision and are currently searching for the driver.
