Authorities are investigating an incident that killed a man at I-45 in Harris County, TX on March 3rd, 2024. Police say it happened around 4:35 a.m. According to police, a Honda Accord was headed northbound at a high rate of speed, allegedly with a passenger situated on the hood of the vehicle. At some point, the passenger, a 21-year-old male who was not publicly identified, was ejected from the vehicle and into the roadway. There, reports say, the man was struck by one or more vehicles, suffering fatal injuries at the scene. The driver of the Honda, identified as 21-year-old Thiago Ortega Gamaro, was arrested on a Driving While Intoxicated charge. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
