Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Beechnut St and Kimble Ridge Ln in Fort Bend County, TX on June 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:20 a.m. A Honda Civic operated by 50-year-old Mandeep Patel reportedly veered from the road while feeling police custody and returned to the road, losing control. It then veered from the road once again and crashed into a tree, overturned and caught fire. Patel suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
