What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  I-40 in Gray County, TX on July 16th, 2021. Police say it happened around 2:23 p.m. A motorcycle operated by 59-year-old Manuel Dean Adlerete was headed south on the service road when it veered from the road at a curve and into a ditch. Adlerete was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned multiple times and suffered serious injuries. Responding officers say that Adlerete smelled of alcohol at the scene.
