Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 917 in Johnson County, TX on April 27th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:28 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 was eastbound on West FM 917 before exiting the roadway, going into a skid. From there, reports say the vehicle hit a concrete culvert before overturning against a pipe fence. Authorities say a front seat passenger, identified as 24-year-old Manuel Dejesus Rios, Jr., was fatally injured. A second passenger, not publicly identified, was seriously injured.
