Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at State Hwy 349 in Dawson County, TX on August 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:45 a.m. A semi-truck headed north on TX 349 reportedly failed to yield and collided with a truck at FM 2051. After the collision, the semi-truck left the scene, leaving the vehicle and driver behind. The driver, identified as 74-year-old Manuel Sandoval, was killed in the collision.
