What Happened

A serious crash occurred at 3:43 p.m. on September 13th, 2024, in Rusk County, TX, involving a Chevrolet Silverado and a Chevrolet Suburban. Reports indicate that the Silverado was traveling westbound on CR 472 and allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign, entering the intersection with SH 42. The Suburban, driven by 62-year-old Marc Matulich, was traveling northbound on SH 42 when the Silverado struck its rear right side. The impact caused the Suburban to rotate clockwise, roll over, and land on its roof before skidding to a stop. Matulich allegedly sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.  Additional information was not available.
