Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 87 in Lubbock County, TX on April 13th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:27 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 headed northbound in a southbound lane on US 87 is said to have collided head-on with a southbound Toyota Corolla. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 23-year-old Marcos Noyola Castanon, was fatally injured. Also fatally injured was the driver of the Dodge, 33-year-old Christina Castro.
