Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Pecan Dr in Bell County, TX on March 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:44 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Focus operated by 55-year-old Maria Bracamontes De Obregon was reportedly headed southbound on Pecan Dr when it veered from the road a curve. The vehicle lost control and went into a skid before colliding with a steel post, the impact causing the vehicle to spin into a ditch. De Obregon was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries she later died from.
