What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at  I-40 in Oldham County, TX on July 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 61-year-old Jaime Magdaleno Brown reportedly was traveling ahead of a tractor-trailer that collided with the rear of the Silverado. The impact caused the trailer being towed by the Silverado to detach and the Silverado to become wedged before vehicle into a ditch. Brown and a passenger, 61-year-old Maria Brown, were both injured. The truck driver, a 610year-old De Valls Bluff man was not injured and charged with Failure to Control Speed.
