Officials are investigating a collision that injured at least two people involved at Airport Blvd in Houston, TX on March 4th, 2024. Police are saying it happened around 2:33 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Traverse was westbound at Airport Blvd as a Pontiac Vibe was southbound on Riceville School Rd. Reports say the Pontiac was in the process of crossing the intersection when the Chevrolet allegedly ran a red traffic signal, colliding with the Pontiac. Sources indicate the driver of the Pontiac, identified as 65-year-old Maria Cardenas, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured was 62-year-old Pontiac passenger, Martin Gonzalez Cuellar. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Additional information was not available.
