Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Katy Hockley Cut Off Rd in Harris County, TX on February 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:16 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a Cypress man was stopped facing southbound and exited the truck to unlock a gate. As he did so, a northbound Ford F-150 operated by 62-year-old Maria Dolores Salgado collided with the truck, which police say was parked partially over the center dividing line. Salgado suffered serious injuries while the other driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
