What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Greens Crossing Blvd and Tall Pine Valley Dr in Houston, TX on July 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:03 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler was involved in a collision with a parked flatbed trailer. Police say the trailer was not attached to a power unit and may have been difficult to see on the roadway prior to the collision. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 73-year-old Maria Rodriguez Duvll, suffered fatal injuries. The driver, 55-year-old Mark Anthony Duvall, was allegedly uninjured.
