San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-35 and Southcross Blvd in San Antonio, TX on January 23rd, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 2 a.m. 30-year-old Mariano Lugo was operating a motorcycle headed westbound on Southcross when it collided with a Honda Accord. Investigators say the Accord ran a red light to cause the collision and fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Lugo was ejected from the bike in the impact and suffered fatal injuries. Police say the driver of the Honda faces a failure to stop and render aid resulting in death charge. Further details were not available
