What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed four people at US 180 in Dawson County, TX on June 4th, 2022. Police are saying it happened 9:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Versa with four occupants collided with a tractor-trailer. The truck was blocking a westbound lane after previously attempting to make a u-turn and becoming stuck in a north barrow ditch. The occupants of the Versa, which included a 10-year-old boy, 11-year-old girl, 78-year-old Connie Garate Carroll and 62-year-old Marie Louise Dupree, suffered fatal injuries.
