Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at US 80E in Sunnyvale, TX on June 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:24 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Rio operated by 26-year-old Mario Avila was allegedly headed westbound in eastbound lanes before veering across travel lanes into the path of a Nissan Sentra. The vehicles collided, leaving both Avila and the other driver, 26-year-old Joshua Hicks, with suspected serious injuries.
